Hi Mike,

This situation is terrible for commuters but the govt are the ones who escalated first by (illegally) cutting the pay of workers doing protected industrial actions.

This is following months of bad faith negotiations by the govt with the union over the new enterprise agreement.

I feel like this depends on the nature of the love interest. Twinks get rapiers, bears get axes, do bi people get bastard swords?

I've only ever bought 3 items from them and I feel dirty even doing that.
#1 was a seller who at the time only sold through an amazon store.
#2 was an item that I could not get in my country and the only people that should ship it here were Amazon.
#3 was because I won a $100 Amazon gift card.

Lmao right now it is the billionaires and they're just using algorithms to justify it.

Case in point that every single person knows how horrible Amazon is as a company and agree that this should be stopped but still keep using their site because of "price", "convenience", and the "algorithm".

... are there people that disagree with this?

That makes sense, I suppose it is shorter than 'high functioning autism'. Because I was told is it now considered on the autistic spectrum when I asked my grandmother about autism she told me no. But when I later made the connection and asked about aspergers, she thought that 25 years ago.
January 5, 2025 at 12:13 AM
That is the one, although apparently that is the "old" name for it and now it is considered on the autistic spectrum. All this time I was like surely 'I can't be autistic, they take everything literally, I don't take everything literally because I can recognize from context that this is a joke'
January 5, 2025 at 12:04 AM
In my case a psychiatrist I've been seeing has made me realize that I fit pretty well into the high functioning autism category. Classic taking words literally but still recognizing that something was a joke most of the time (but sometimes just not realizing it was a joke and reacting badly)

Do I start a new thread by reposting and clicking quote post?

I apologise I am new to Bluesky and did not use twitter beforehand,

How do I stop copying you in when I responded to Mihgasper?

and instead of getting mad at you for not understanding what I thought was clear I clarified.

This has been yet another realization about my autistic ass brain and how to act in a healthy manner.

Has the driver actually said this or is this a meme?
January 4, 2025 at 11:05 PM
I feel like I did not explain myself correctly, so I'm going to slow my thoughts down.
1. People see a modern day story with a twist on "the original".
2. "the original" they are pointing to is the brothers Grimm version.
3. The brothers Grimm themselves took existing stories and added a twist/spin.
January 4, 2025 at 10:03 PM
Oh there are absolutely some dark stories all the way back there, but then people these days will say "actually the story that this book/movie/show" is based on has a really fucked up ending", and the ending they point to is the Grimm version which are an unreliable version of the fable themselves.
January 4, 2025 at 6:11 AM
Reminds me of how many stories we say actually have terrible endings in mythology.

Yeah no the brothers Grimm just liked spinning dark endings onto myths and fables and their stories are the popular ones.

Fuck like anything AI does is something a person can already do, and the person can do it so much better, these execs just don't want to pay them.
January 4, 2025 at 4:55 AM
Holy fucking shit, it would have been so easy just to ai gen the crowd behind, then put a picture of the two people front and centre on top but nooooooooo, have to cost cut every little bit and end up with this obvious ai disaster.
