If you want to do something specific with my muses or with me, go for it. If you don't agree, that's fine too. Worst anyone says is no. All I ask is you're upfront: I'm HORRIBLE at social cues.
I'd rather be told ten times no, over guessing what you actually want when pitching ideas.
Getting along is important, we should be comfortable with each other in order to write. Just be civil and don't try to force ships, interactions or whatever.
