i just finished the failure zine, my first zine

for a first zine, it's just okay. i did upload it as a freebie on my gumroad, but I'm just proud of myself for getting it done. creating my first zine has been a long-term goal of mine

now i'm pumped to get back to making cool art

ended up having so many sketches from spring alone that I've decided to divide the project into several digital zines separated by seasons. still feels good to do something selfish for the first time in a while.

feeling bad about my art progress this year, so i'm planning a zine/sketch collection of my favorite drawings from this year.

gotta export all the images and decide what to include, gonna do that after work tn. i've always wanted to make a zine, so it's exciting

finished 1 request today + a pin light experiment; liked the results i saw in my Spotify wrapped, gonna try to listen to even more music next year

studies while sick with an alleged sinus infection. still working on requests, but trying to bond with my sketchbook in the meantime.

disappointed in my progress this year, so i'm making this account to hold myself accountable.

currently swallowed up in the job search and finishing some requests, and drawing takes me a very long time. hoping i can use my blue sky more like a log of personal art n thoughts
