Its probably just me but when Larian does all the gore and spectacle it comes across as "This is all style and no substance." Why is it happening here? What is the meaning? I feel like so many people who played DAO who love Larian didn't understand that DAO.

So Casey Hudson's Humanoid Origin closed last year due to lack of funds and now the new studio he's with started in June 2025 and they already have the Star Wars licence for a new game?

Telltale games take the adventure style gameplay and imbue it with as much good writing and voice acting as possible. Using the format to deliver such interesting stories. Man I have missed them as well. Glad to see AdHoc did so well.
I cannot blab enough about how i missed Telltale style games, this just give something that most games these days dont, im so excited for future AdHoc projects and the future of Dispatch. What an amazing game, what a bunch of incredible performances, deff top 3 games for me this year. PLAY IT!

When you think you couldn't hate EA more you find more space in your heart to hate.
That is what it feels like to me. Its a goodbye from people who didn't want to say it but were forced to. They love what they make and they couldn't do it any more. They deserved so much more and better.

I am finally finished with my Veilguard video. Everything has been recorded and edited. It could be better. It definitely could be better but I am happy with it as is. It will be releasing on Veilguard's anniversary the 31st of October. I hope you will enjoy the results.

Its always weird to me because I have never really thought of Shepard and Mass Effect as one in the same. My favourite Mass Effect game is the first one and that is largely because of how it feels so massive. Talking to representatives and doing quests makes it feel like a real and distinct place.
Oh good, the never ending "Mass Effect is Shepard, I can't play a Mass Effect game without Shepard" discourse is rife again.

Anthem really hurt BioWare and especially Dragon Age. It sucks that it caused Joplin to disappear because a) Casey wanted to make his own thing at the expense of DA and b) because EA likes live service games.

Okay so I bought Rouge Trader and I was immediately confused. Apparently all the DLC isn't done because in 2026 more stuff is coming. Is just this how Owlcat works? I already bought it but I didn't buy the season 2 pass.
