Terminal 1 of SFO has an exhibit on women in Afrofuturism, including a prominent section on Octavia Butler (and other authors she inspired). Very cool!
An exhibit on Octavia Butler in a broader exhibit in Terminal 1 of San Francisco Airport on women in Afrofuturism. There are several books of Butler's, a typewriter she used, and books by more recent authors she inspired, such as Nalo Hopkinson, N. K. Jemisin, and Nnedi Okorafor. In the back is a large, colorful, stylized portrait of Butler.

I made an apple cider spice cake with brown sugar marshmallow buttercream icing!

I miss New England fall colors. This made me smile on my walk today.

My housemate refers to this as my Muppet Lunch: a sandwich and two Babybels.
A plate is centered in the photo, arranged with a sandwich and two unwrapped Babybel cheeses. The sandwich is at the bottom of the plate, oriented with the flat part of the bread crust toward the top of the plate. The Babybels are toward the top of the plate, side-by-side. The overall arrangement is suggestive of a smiling face.
