-100% of Americans could be denied health ins if they had a medical illness…even in employer sponsored plans.
-Most plans did not cover treatment for psychiatric illnesses.

I’m not sure holding out would have changed the outcome. This shutdown has created a bigger impact in terms of fighting MAGA misinformation. People understand who is taking their healthcare and SNAP and who is fighting for it. That being said: Schumer should step down.

It has been effectively suspended since Jan 20. Exactly as he promised.
