The draw for me is/was minimalism which does WONDERS on battery life (82% out of box and currently 76% after more than a day of use).

Ophthalmic instruments! And no worries, imo Pebble isn't where it was at its peak rn, so you're not missing much at the moment.

I would check the after market for that battery again. You might get lucky! Pebble is back up officially on app stores with legacy support for the original models. ✨
Worst case, you can coin-in for one of the new and improved models. 👌
