@indivisiblechicagonw.org had its first town hall on Monday!

We packed the place and got even more neighbors in the fight.

The best part? Comments like these:

💪"Inspiring! I feel like there are ways I can fight back against the dictator."
❤️ "Genuinely felt better about the world after leaving."

MASSIVE turnout at the Chicago #handsoff protest!

When we finished the march route people were STILL just leaving the starting point.

Thousands and thousands of people.

Lots of NW-siders as well!

Over 1,200 Northwest Siders have joined our chapter in our first 8 weeks. 🎉

Many will be downtown tomorrow at the Hands Off rally.

Look for these signs and say hi!

We're a fun group. 😁

Northwest Siders! There's still time to help hang flyers to drive turnout for the massive April 5th rally!

Hang them on light posts, at coffee shops, or at community centers! We need everyone to know about this rally.

One of our members hung 100 flyers around the Northwest Side of Chicago for April 5th! 🤯

Along the way, they met multiple people who hadn't heard of it yet. And others who were thrilled they were posting.

There's more than just posting on social media!

Another great day of sign-making yesterday in preparation for the April 5th Hands-Off rally!

We need as many people as possible to show up on April 5th to show strength against MAGA and wake up the country.

We also have lots of extra signs from today's event. So if you can't make your own before the 5th, just meet up with us at the rally and we'll have some for you.

DM me to get on our Northwest Side email list for logistical details.

April 5th is our moment to break into mainstream consciousness with a show of strength against the Trump-Musk regime.

And we need everyone to show up to make it as big as possible!

Indivisible Chicago Northwest showed out today at our first of four sign-making parties for the April 5th mass mobilization!

There are some seriously creative and talented people up here!

Yesterday was our first "member-led" event: a small meet-and-greet for neighbors in a specific NW-side neighborhood.

Member-led events allow neighbors to scale our community-building efforts and create more intimate discussion spaces.

Got an idea for your own? 👇

We're prepping for the April 5th mass mobilization in Northwest Chicago with 4 different sign-making parties.

There were 100 spots available. And we "sold out" (it's free) in 3 days.

The rage is real. We have a harder time accommodating people than getting them to turn out. 😅

Two events in, two packed houses!

Thanks to all the Northwest Siders who attended our community-building game night last night.

I strongly believe that fun activities are critical for building a powerful resistance.

The closer we are to our neighbors, the more we show up to fight for them.

Join your neighbors at Stay and Play Game Cafe in Irving Park tomorrow, Wed, March 19th!

We'll have a packed house for a fun night of community building.

An authoritarian's worst nightmare is an organized community, and that's what we're building on the NW-side of Chicago. 💪

Just 2 days ago we launched our Indivisible Chicago Northwest group chat on Signal.

It's been a smashing success with over 70 members already chatting.

Every @indivisible.org chapter should start one to create a stronger sense of community and securely organize real-time actions.

Had an amazing time at the Women's March and Tesla Takedown events today.

Best part was getting to meet a bunch of Northwest Siders who showed up to fight for a better future.

Don't let anyone tell you we're not in the streets!

I started my day plotting with @devankeesling.bsky.social how we can expand Indivisible's reach to a younger demographic.

One of her ideas I loved was plugging into the social scene on the NW side from farmer's markets to trendy restaurants.

Should be a fun and productive spring. 🌱
