I do indeed, Frank. Our dog very kindly bought me this Ice Towel last Father’s Day. 😊

Good news for #nufc when we face Man City next week. Tonali is only one booking away from suspension, so he won’t be risked in today’s game against Norway. Italy are saving him for a must win World Cup Qualifier play-off in March.

Sounds fab. Just being with the family is special occasion enough, Stu. The meal sounds fascinating as long as they don’t keep you in. It was our 53rd wedding anniversary in September but only got to celebrate it 2 weeks ago with a couple of nights on Holy Island (Lindisfarne). Very peaceful.

Best buddies. Our Lurcher, Merlin, the kindest dog in the world, takes care of Maisy our daughter’s 16yr old Shih Tzu as we give her a lift home.

Merlin lying down on the grass, hoping someone will throw the ball again. 😊

That’s fascinating, Marty. I didn’t know about the connection. Even though around the 1965/66 season I played against Quettingen for Whitley Bay Boys Club under 18s (I was only 13). Game was held at Hillheads Park, Whitley Bay FC. Quettingen is about 15 miles from Dusseldorf.

Robbie Cumming’s sixth series of Canal Boat Diaries starts tonight at 8pm on U&Yesterday. Robbie is genuinely one of the nicest guys around, not just on TV but also in real life. ⭐️
