I think China play a long game. Their position is clear, they have been around a long time and they are not reliant on the US to exist or be successful - www.tiktok.com/@c4news/vide...

He was always going to lose the tariff war with China. China has no qualms about sacrificing to win this, there will not be mass dissent or pressure from the public. America is a country of individuals who believe they are free, they won't tolerate increased costs & public pressure will be immense

Going in some bad directions = protecting citizens from exploitation for the profit of private companies. The EU commission & the UK should ban X & block them from operating in their countries. It is pretty apparent is is one of the main arms used for disinformation and destabilisation by Russia.

What I want to ask Susan is how does she know they are men? What features do the gingerbread people possess.which is masculine?

Trump's business experience is not in a complex corporate entity with any form of public accountability. He ran a private business, like an empire. All his way, him involved in every decision, no true delegation - he does not know how to do the job he is doing - utterly unprepared for the complexity

And the Stephanopoulos response should be: 'That is an insult to me as host but more importantly to the people who watch this show, to whom you are accountable. They deserve an answer to the question I asked, so answer the question.' The media needs to get more direct with politicians.

Why do the media never push back? So Tom, these men were on a boat hit by a drone strike, in the water, limited visibility, we can't see another boat but you think the plausible explanation is that they were trying to send a visual signal to a boat out of sight? Does that make sense to you?

For the good of everyone, do not buy tickets, do not endorse this approach. There will be wealthy people with no morals that will buy tickets and go but what will let them know it was a bad idea to do this is having empty seats and hotels and car parks so make that happen.

If they operated as separate countries with this law he could be fined 27 times - is that really a better deal for him? I personally think the EU & UK should pass a law to make sm platforms publishers - they have hidden from accountability long enough.

It is a star on the star chart for the toddler in chief and will only happen again if they still have to pander to him to avoid a tantrum next year

I really wish we could get people in positions of power to stop using the number world descriptor at all - it does not apply post cold war and is outdated. It is developing countries.

Indirectly, build trust through areas you agree on, empathise with the challenges they are facing, don't confront but sow seeds of doubt through open questions to encourage reflection, they need to reach the conclusions themselves to accept them. It's not easy as it has to be personal.

While it would be nice if it was pathological I fear it is actually technological. I still have good students, who work hard & think but I have others who always take the easy route and live on SM. Tech made things too easy, they don't understand systems, their attention span is shot

I always frame this very clearly that they have not paid for a degree, but the opportunity to earn one. I also make clear that the piece of paper they get at the end is not why they are there, it is the 3-4 years of learning & growth that matters, that's what gets them the job.

They are missing an option - Their party - and that is what it is. There is already a party to the left of labour, creating another intentionally splits the vote and is profoundly selfish. The only reason to do so is self-interest.

I think this every time I see comments on local news articles about Universities in trouble as 'you'll be laughing out the other side of your face if it closes Shaz, and neither you or your husband can earn a living due to the combination of lost trade and increased competition'.
November 25, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Beyond that. Universities create huge amounts of business in local areas. Retail. hospitality, beauty, leisure & entertainment, building, transport - if a university closes it will impact that area significantly - more than pit closures did.

Yes a cover up is afoot. DT is not nuanced in his approach to malfeasance, he is a book written for very dumb children & it is easy to read his motives (half the time he brags about it). It was clear when he flipped why, but people outside of this administration have seen these files
November 20, 2025 at 9:41 PM
Which will make it very apparent the files have been doctored. E targeted high profile people of all affiliations for leverage - based on probability alone they will not all be affiliated with one party and it would be deeply suspicious if they were.
