Very cool spiders whose protective shells come in many colors. They weave a very nice web, many of which I have walked into on my country place.

Pains me to agree about Only Murders. This most recent season was painful.
I also approach shows with stellar casting, only to often be disappointed. Most recent: “Down Cemetery Road”. Watched 3 1/2 and I am done.

My great aunt, who lived on a ranch outside of Wichita Falls, used to call her area the bald prairie. That description seems apt for your photo.

I miss the bright light she shone on the corrupt, the mendacious, and the banal. In Texas and beyond.

She was moving so fast that the camera sometimes only caught a blur as she zipped through.

Definitely one of the top 3 or 4 adaptations of book to film ever. It is a classic in every way. My only bone to pick was the casting of Blue Duck. Not nearly menacing or frightening enough. (RIP Frederic Forrest)

Also. In her defense. She has no pencil.

I love night sky photos. I have had a few successes with ordinary photo equipment. One I took of a star filled sky had a little cameo appearance from the Andromeda galaxy.
I think it was saying “I’m coming for you! In 4 billion years.”

She brought to light not only that the primates she studied were intelligent beings, but presented to the science community, and the world, that ALL animal intelligence needed to be studied in proper context.

This song has so many great lyrics, it takes singing (or saying) the whole song to quote them all. “The dust that Pancho bit down south ended up in Lefty’s mouth.” I’ll stop.
