Finland has a rich gnome folklore (tonttuperinne meille suomalaisille) of which the Christmas gnomes are some of the better known ones. Traditionally they spy on children and tell Santa whether they have been behaving or not, but here they visit on friedly terms.

This older painting from early 2022 is a first draft of an idea I had for a grave cleric (Dnd5e 2014) character. The campaing never happened but atleast I have the art. I really like the mood and the story elements this painting has.
