Our careers are not linear. There are times of huge growth that everyone can see, and there are times of introspection and learning that only you can see. Sound off if you know what I mean! Don't diminish the strides you've taken in these times of nurturing cultivation of your craft.

She urged us to remember that we are not living our careers, we are living our LIVES. I really took that to heart as I prepared to be a mother, and it has been an immense honor.
