That's good, my parents were pretty lenient too, at a certain age they kinda just let us figure things out. I'm glad they were (mostly) somewhere in between the helicopter parent and the overbearing type.

I like the diagonal angle of the pose and the way you did the rain on the fabric!

I think being extremely restrictive about such things can easily backfire because you don't get to question anything earlier on and yeah, the pendulum will swing quite far in the other direction when you get the chance to think for yourself. Went through that phase too!
