Having lived next door to an actual tweak house for seven years, I concur. However, when owner named “PeeWee” died and MAGA boomer who is only happy when he’s pissed off at the world moved in, I kinda want the crackheads back. 😢

Mark Hertling + Mark Kelly = 2028 ticket. Either man at the top of the ticket is fine. Putting this country back together post Trump could be easier with people who can restore faith in our institutions, especially the military.

When these attacks started cranking up, I emailed my GOP Congressman and Senators to ask what evidence indicates the boats and the people killed were engaged in drug trafficking & what legal advice was Dept of Defense given. Only one Senator wrote back. His response? “They are narcoterrorists.” 🙄

What is with Ginny’s “X Marks the Spot” earrings? She is ALWAYS wearing those same ones, and they wobble on her floppity earlobes. I feel justified in going ad hominem on this lady - she was my Congresswoman back when my house was gerrymandered into the 5th Congressional District. She’s a turnip.

Very cool. Could I request a quick mention of Charlotte, NC in today’s entry? Bovino and ICE are there now in my hometown 😢. I live in a different part of the state now, but it’s sad to see this all happen so close to home.

Wow! I don’t know how you keep up with it all - I imagine you have to be selective with all of the things we get slammed with each day. What’s the lyrics from the Hamilton song? “Who lives, who dies, who tells your story?” So glad you’re a storyteller!

I hope the same thing happens in North Carolina next year for the shady map the General Assembly adopted two weeks ago - they responded to Trump’s request to get the GOP another seat in the House, and I hope the voters in all 14 gerrymandered districts DO NOT FORGET next November.

There IS a contingency fund! This goober lies like he breathes. I’m thankful for NC’s AG Jeff Jackson who is suing on behalf of our state to force them to use the $6billion in the Dept of Agriculture’s budget established through Congressional law to keep SNAP running during a shutdown.
