Diary of a Wimpy Kid in HS Libraries? Yes! If the only reading kids do in school is “hard”…well, why would they embrace and seek out books for fun? Even strong readers need a break. Think about what *you* read for fun. 😉#nojudgment

I found this quote on a scrap piece of paper that I think is from author Cynthia Lord: "Sometimes, when we pretty the world up for children, we leave them alone with the hard things" and I wish all those book banners understood the truth of this.
