I agree. It’s the one thing I’ve read in ages that lifted the pall even if just a bit.

The speed is important to us though. Systematic but slow, we may adapt. But just rip it, and we notice.

I suppose I’ve always had some mandatory financial disposition, but that’s generally reduced to a judgment. Time served -yes- for those who were arrested; straight conviction for those who were not. And this is almost entirely in misdemeanor world.
