I need a clever crew of roughly six to ten people to assist me in, ah, "liberating" a few wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano from this place.

Who's with me?

I have to do small decorations at Christmas because my cats destroy everything. So, this year, I've done small displays in the shelves in in the hall.

I have been in the habit of saying "Hoo, dang!" when expressing mild shock, or gentle surprise or delight (think "wow").

Sometimes, I really miss my first Italian kitty, Sophie Doodlebug. My hubby and I put her photos and a box with her collar on the marble shelf over the radiator because that was her favorite place to sit and/or sleep when we watched TV in the living room.

She was amazing.

The hubby and I had a near-miss on the road, Saturday. We're down one side mirror but suffered no further damage because of his swift thinking (and driving). The driver who hit us didn't stop.

Afterwards we went to Ikea, as is the custom in this country.

I like cheese.
