It's actually both. A declared war is not a requirement for an act to be a war crime--just an armed conflict (which applies even when only one side is armed/killing). Based solely on public info, these acts are both war crimes & extrajudicial executions (formal way of saying state-sponsored murder).

A war crime denotes a declared war. There is no declared war. This is just plain mass murder. Pete Hegseth and the military officials giving and carrying out illegal orders are just mass murderers.

Captain Mark Kelly is so right here! Pete Hegseth never commanded more than a platoon (about 30 people) in his time in the National Guard! He is no more qualified to be Secretary of WAR than I am! Being an alcoholic woman abuser doesn't help! Trump picked him only because he liked him on Fox News!
