I noticed that absence as soon as I saw it. And the NYT article -- pretty empty of info already -- had been posted long AFTER the true identification was made and made public.

@jerseyvindicator.bsky.social Why do you think Gov-elect Sherrill isn't planning to re-appoint Matt Platkin for AG? He's the perfect reform official, so one would think it'd be a natural re-appointment ... unless she's looking for someone more pliable and less aggressive or transparent?
