I have never once heard anyone make the argument for that. Granted I recommend watching Gundam X, but its just another take of the newtype message.

The Golden saucer ones don't have dye options, but the PVP sets do. Its good stuff and I love every bit of it.

Luckily they have a youtube channel where they have been putting the series up, I don't know if qll of them have Subtiles in other languages but I highly recommend checking some of them out.
