We saw Sunny Afternoon at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking last night. It was such fun. The actors and musicians were brilliant. I was surprised that many seats were unfilled. Only another few nights to go. See it if you liked the Kinks.

For any Jackson Browne fans in the UK, we saw him in concert in Woodinvile, USA on Saturday. His voice is still very strong and the band were great!

Just home from watching ‘The Girl from the North Country’. Loved hearing the sensitive arrangements of Bob Dylan’s songs. Actors and musicians were superb.

I agree! Saw the production at the NT in 2018 and couldn’t imagine it being any better but it was! A fantastic show! Don’t hesitate to see it.

In a cupboard at home yesterday I found a stack of 45s. Some were my sister’s from the 60s and mine were a real mixture but all 70s. I was pleased to find this record as I saw @direstraits77.bsky.social perform the song in the basement at The Hope & Anchor, Islington, just before it was released.

Visiting JMA today was an emotional experience. I asked pupils what had changed in the past few weeks. They said that ‘it is strict, but we are learning’. Can this amazing team have turned the pupils’ engagement and behaviour around in a few weeks? I believe they have. @greenshawtrust.bsky.social
