[177/200h] Started the fine-tuning of what I have so far:

One of my biggest issues is the attack-dices.

Without getting into adding additional Graphics I decided to:
- Give them faction colors (Blue/Red-Border)
- Give them a positionbased-alignment.

[175/200h] Now that there is a rudimentary gameplay loop I decided to overhaul my debug-logging.

I already had a customised system in place, but it lacked some features. The new approach can log to console and/or textfiles.

(And yes it is all easily switchable for performance.)

And HERE IT IS. A GAMELOOP!

It's crude, it's rudimentary, but battlers can defeat each other and the battlefield resets it when detected. "gAmEpLaY" everybody.😤

The Enemy AI can move towards a target.

This is probably a first for me. Never got that far with pathfinding to pull it off.😤😬

Next step in the enemy AI:

I (blue) can now run around the enemy and it can turn towards me and attacks, whenever I'm in the vertical/horizontal position towards it.

[163/200h] First AI-Victory!

I know it's hard to understand, but that's basically the AI (red) attacking my Unit (blue) when it's standing in front of it.

It can't do much else yet, but it's a start.🫠

I really should start using this more, so here is my current gamedev project:

[158/200h] A turnbased strategy game in the vain of Gemfire (for the Snes/Nes). Currently I'm trying to finish the animation systems.
