Boomerang update. I wrecked the code decal on the port nose, so replaced it with one from the kit's sheet. Wrong style and colour compared to the other side, but roughly the same size, so it'll have to do. Happily most of the silvering has been taken care of. #scalemodels #histscalemodels

"Nausicaä and Ohm" finally done. Deliberately low effort on the base, and finished in a flat, cartoon style as befits the source material. (And I suck at figure painting.) Still, loads of fun, and I look forward to doing the others!

I've continued to work on the Boomerang today, pushing it ever closer to the painting stage. Windscreen masked, rudder on, cannon barrels fitted, and scratch-built a new pitot tube to replace the unusable kit one. I also purchased some CMK wheels, because why not. #scalemodels #histscalemodels
