I had luck using docsumo.com for extracting the MIDI specs from a synth manual (pdf). It’s a paid service, though. Only used the trial.

AWS Limitless is also interesting. It seems to be sort of a predecessor to DSQL (it also builds on EC2 clock sync, but it's not multi-region). I'm surprised it didn't get more hype.
