Such a good point. I can usually count on one hand the number of other women I see biking when I'm out; they are the true indicator species of safe biking infrastructure.

That's only one of several all way walks along First Ave - there is s one by SAM and one by Pioneer Square. All to say, there's precedent for prioritizing pedestrians throughout downtown.

😍Proper use to space and time. I found a similar little street called the Rue Mouffetard that's open to trucks for loading in the morning and then closed to cars all day so people can shop and stroll. Flexible use and flexible schedule.
