He found that W/O emulsions are preferred with increasing ANG hydrophobicity, oil polarity, and oil/water ratio. He also connected this behavior to interfacial ANG adsorption kinetics and quantified ANG deformation and swelling in both phases via atomic force microscopy.

With a library of polymers, she tested the influence of polymer composition and structure and found that same center polymers are more active than different center polymers. Also, sulfonium-based AMPs show superior bactericidal activity and selectivity than their quaternary ammonium analogues.
