Whoa, sir. That's a lot of days.

Maybe it's not obvious, but my work computer is a Mac because the Windows or you-slick-em Linux laptops didn't have enough go-go juice for the development I needed to do. I'm counting down the days until I can upgrade to a new laptop that doesn't suck (Linux).

To be fair, my first development happened in BASIC on an Apple IIc, but ffs the world became a better place when Linus gifted us his kernel.

Why the fuck did the industry go backward? What happened? Was it LSD? Or not enough LSD? Or the wrong flavor of LSD? WTF, y'all?

Much hiding did, indeed, happen. And then the next day, it was Teh Onslaught as my company's annual conference necessitated ass-on-fire levels of go, which usually means all the people-ing.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to speak in front of larger than expected crowds, but now I can haz no people time? I mean, except for returning to work right away...
