Hey! Starting my read about Adam Warlock also doubles as my introduction to 60s Fantastic Four.

Also it's interesting that he doesn't have the name Adam Warlock yet, he's just HIM!!

Despite there being 18 dps characters in Marvel Rivals, I haven't really found one I like enough to commit time to. I've gravitated a lot more towards the tanks (and Rocket).

But considering Mister Fantastic looks like a Tank with the DPS label on him, maybe I'll put time into that role after all

I know everyone always says that this is a classic and worth watching.....but I wasn't expecting this

and I certainly didn't think going in that it would speak to me so personally

An image of “The Grey Child” from Silent Hill 1. It is a humanoid figure that appears to be nude/with no distinguishing features and a grey/sickley green skin tone. Originally they were meant to be ghost children, basically, but due to censors they were made a bit more ambiguous. They yield a knife and have scratch marks in an arcane carving on their face. This is definitely the creature that stuck with me the most from the first game. The Mannequin from Silent Hill 2. Two torsos attached at the waist, two pairs of legs attached at the waist basically. They still look sultry in stance and attack with abandon, hiding in the shadows until it’s time to pounce like a trap door spider. In the remake they really made these enemies a lot more dangerous and honestly fun. I didn’t want to go the Pyramid Head route even though he’s arguably the most iconic in the franchise but the Mannequins are incredible and create a great sense of tension. An image of The Closer from Silent Hill 3. Their legs are suggestive of being muscular but feminine. Their arms start “normal” but flare out to giant clubs of what appear to be flesh that they walk on/balance with. Their head, currently seen facing the viewer, has a suggestive looking “face” with “lips”. The head writhes continually and sporadically. This is the first enemy Heather faces in the game and they tower over her. They definitely left an impression. The Twin Victims in Silent Hill 4: The Room. A pair of heads attached at the neck to a body that is covered in a cloak. Instead of legs two giant arms sprout from it, one of which is pointing at the viewers. The faces look asleep or at least at peace with their eyes closed. They will not attack unless provoked. They will point at the protagonist and say “Receiver of…”. They are the manifestation of two victims of the main antagonist of the game, Billy and Miriam Locane. They are incredibly creepy and an incredibly striking image that has stuck with me.
