It’s most ironic how baby behavior and hate comes from people who usually consider Nintendo stuff to be “for babies”

The best part of Knight is to just roam around the city and find all those really nice and beautiful places that you have no reason to go to otherwise. So much love put into the artwork, purely amazing.

Started Yakuza 0 a few days ago. I can totally see why it’s on the list!

But once you get the rhythm of the game and find balance between going through the story and doing some of the side quests, it kinda works! The setting adds its charm, the story picks up pace and it just gets you hooked enough to keep going.

Also love the free roaming mode to clear all side stuff.

Oddly enough picking up Ginkgo is faster than picking up prize tickets. Thus at least 20% of my total playtime were spent on running around and sitting through unskippable animations.

Cutscenes aside, Ishin feels almost like a portable title with how small the world is compared to say Zero

The most tedious part is how stiff it feels with all the animations and UI feedback. In dialogues you can press down and select an option to hear the cursor moving sound but it won’t move actually because you were too fast. Opening chests, picking up items and so on - all very slow

Most of the side activities in Ishin felt unnecessary. At least on normal you only need one style, so all the teacher quests become optional; you don’t need to craft equipment - the story will provide you with enough good weapons and some armor and so on - which is kinda good if you want a quick run

The more I play Ishin, the more games it reminds me of. Unlocked memory of a PS2 Fullmetal Alchemist game I played years ago 😅 But gotta admit - while almost every aspect of the game feels clunky, I’m hooked both on the “serious” main story and the goofy side quests, so gotta keep going.

Currently playing Like a Dragon: Ishin! It really reminded me Crisis Core in certain ways so I thought “damn it feels like a PS3 game”. That happened to be surprisingly accurate 😅

I knew a little about Yakuza series and not disappointed with Ishin as my first entry in the series. So far so good.

Spider-Man 2 was one of the first PS2 games that I got and it totally blew my mind back in the day. So many hours spent just swinging around. Thank you!

Never played the first one, but the 2nd and the TCG got me soooo hooked up on Digimon.
