Get a referral to a sleep doctor/clinic. There might be a medical condition like apnea preventing you from getting good sleep.

I think your proposed plan is pretty good for an individual. But we would need to do it with some sort of prescription medication reform.

I currently only cover myself through my employer. No copays but a 4000 deductible. kicks in a 50 percent cost share till 6850 deductible (in network). My cost is $4578 for the year. No RX would be a big problem for me though. I have a prescription that cost $16,000 a month.

I assume they won't go back into session unless the flip a Republican vote or until Dec 3 when a new Republican congressman is likely to get elected to replace Mark Green.

They don't really know why it's increasing. The standard culprits are suspects obesity, smoking, alcohol, etc.
There's no good early tests so most cases are found in the later stages.
Also, there's really no effective treatment against it.
