Using a combination of survey and register data in NL, we see that men cargiver were able to improve their wages over time, while wages for women caregivers decreased.
So very similar to the dady bonus...

This morning I also found the newest edition of the Dutch #Sociology magazine in my mailbox which includes a short article based on my PhD thesis. This little piece makes me proud as Dutch is not my mother tongue and I did learn Dutch during my (pandemic) Phd.

One week ago I finally defended my PhD thesis. It was an awesome day full of celebrations. I was as happy as I look on the fotos.

Finally a way to complain openly about train rides in Germany again.

I am on my way to my last conference of the season (SLLS) combined with a family weekend.

Its not going great... DB says my 'trip is cancelled' and now the app does not even give me alternatives anymore.
