Thanks, I got it years ago during my erasmus stay to cover the ugly furniture in my room and make it look cozy :) 😅

I would love to believe people generally spend more time on baselines than this outside the rebuttal period, but I am not sure I do :)

I am soo exhausted after the author-reviewer discussion period.

And I feel like it resulted in pretty much no discussion among reviewers. I found a short discussion with other reviewers post-rebuttal for ICCV/CVPR more useful than this endless back-and-forth. My sample is small ofc. :)

though I guess that the larger the XX, the less chances you have, you probably have a hard time finding any alone time at conferences :)

I literally thought "what is the worst thing that could happen," and then I found out who Ralph is, and he started talking about taking pictures, I wanted to run away 😂

It is never too late to try! It has always led to very interesting encounters for me (the sample size is very small though) :)

Huge congrats to Illia and Nikita! They started working with us last summer, finished their 1st year of bachelors!! and masters now, and this is their second publication. They worked hard for it alongside full-time courses and didn't get discouraged by the first reject. What can I say, I am proud 🤩

I am not sure when was the last time I actually looked at the reference section, except for maybe confirming a paper under review in 2025 only cites 2022 and before papers...
