we listen and we don’t judge: JSA edition

because they had no idea if they would even go beyond 5 issues, so they really needed to get things rolling to make new readers hooked. And to me, they did a great job at that. Never once did I feel bored when reading it.

But because it is slightly rushed, there isn't much -

it easier for new readers to get hooked. You get introduced to the main cast fairly quickly and the world they live in.

But on the other hand, it can feel a bit rushed which hurts stuff like the conflict between Shane and Rick. But I don't blame the creative team too hard-

opinion on the Beginning/Farm arc is pretty much the exact same as when I read it for the first time.

It wastes no time and sets things off pretty quickly. This to me is this arc's biggest strength and weakness. On one hand, it doesn't waste your time which in turn makes-

I have been feeling in a The Walking Dead mood recently, so I decided to read the comics for the second time. But this time I wanna do a small review after each arc to voice my opinion on them and give them a rating.

So we're starting off with the Beginning/Farm Arc. My-

Before I start the second Starman by James Robinson Compendium, I wanted to refresh my memory. So I read Starman Secret Files.

And man, I had forgotten how much I love this book.
November 24, 2024 at 11:45 AM
Now I gotta figure out what to read next. I will probably start reading the second and last Starman compendium, because that's a run I have been wanting to finish for a while now

And now I'm done with Mark Waid's Fantastic Four run

9. Attachment issues
People with ADHD can at times get too attached to people or things too quickly.

Rick has often been described as someone who gets attached to people and things "too quickly".

8. Inheritance
ADHD tends to run in families

Rick is someone who has often been described to be almost just like his father, and has very clearly inherited his father's problems aswell.

It's what caused him to have such a disorganized life. He prioritized it over his personal life, because it gave him a rush of feeling that nothing else could give him. So much hat he couldn't give up on it.

"This was the life I chose and that addiction or not... I loved it"

7. Dopamine Craving
People with ADHD constantly crave things that gives them dopamine to the point where they can almost get addicted to it.

We all know that Hourman was addicted to Miralco, right? But if there was something he was more addicted to, it was the superhero life.-

6. Negative self-image
People with ADHD are often hypercritical of themselves. This is due in part to difficulties concentrating, as well as other symptoms that may affect school, work, and relationships

This one is kind of up for interpretation, due to Rex self-doubt being kind of justifed.
November 21, 2024 at 1:58 PM
5. Substance misuse
People with ADHD are more likely than others to experience substance misuse.

I feel like this is the most obvious one. I don't think I need to explain this one

4. Restlessness
People with ADHD yearn to keep moving and do things. This could lead to struggling to sit still.

Another short one: Rex has been described as someone who "could never sit still for more than a minute"
November 21, 2024 at 1:58 PM
3. Forgetfulness
Someone with ADHD tends to be very forgetful and forget about stuff like important dates.

I'll keep this one short and simple: Rex forgot about his Son's birthday, and what age he was.

usually procrastinating or ignoring assignments they consider boring in favour of something they enjoy.

Hourman is notorious for having a very disorganized life, due to the fact that he prioritizes his superhero over his personal life. As Rick put it:
