Mary's next term is 2027. April 7th 2026 is the election; my dad is running but against which seat I'm not sure. I know he wants to cut spending because he is upset about the recent hike in property taxes. I'd say increased funding from the state and removing Walker-era caps would help fix that

Also, while an amendment is a big deal, who interprets the state constitution?

Side note: constitutional amendments in WI can not be made by popular support, only via the legislative assembly+senate. The Rs cannot govern and rely on bullshit amendments to override the Governor

And the 🍒 on top is we get to keep public schools public!

Milwaukee County isn't even finished counting! And public schools will remain public!

I enjoyed the Polestar I rented in S California, but they need to make some changes for a US market. Seats were a bit tight and only 1 cup holder! But they do have a standard driving display and I don't have to focus on a center counsel iPad for my driving stats

I interpreted the ending as she actually succeeded, and the last scene was a nightmare she has before she wakes up. I'm probably wrong but I like that there is room to interpret it that way.

I think this clip summarizes why I hate Cable News. This is a spectacle meant to make everyone angry and to continue rage-watching the news while learning nothing of value. I think hearing from conservatives isn't wrong, but Jennings isn't speaking in good-faith, he's performing for a CNN paycheck

Absolutely. Will conservatives do everything to interfere? Absolutely, it's been their strategy for I'd say since Obama was elected. Elections are controlled by local officials. Can liberals rally together, with a message and a plan to inspire voters?🤷‍♀️

Lots of roadblocks, but I have hope...maybe

Correct over-all strategy for the time being. Also, we need to support qualified local and state politicians to prepare to run. We need to drive down the opposition's approval and gain as many seats by the time midterms arrive.

I believe you would be an excellent national chair, but I also want a liberal WI. With you as our state chair, I think we have the best chance. Ken sounds like a good choice, and we have a lot of work ahead to start flipping legislative seats
February 2, 2025 at 5:31 AM
These kinds of petty remarks do not build coalition or improve our chances at gaining power. Honestly, it's shit like this that drives moderate/less politically engaged types to not vote Liberal. If you feel better saying it, fine. But I think it's fucking annoying

Here in WI, several state assembly and state senate races flipped Blue. We (barely) reelected a great senator to fight for the people.

I believe if we are litigious and organized, we can slow-walk many negative policies. Midterms are just 2 years away; WI could look like MN.

Drug name "Metoprolol" being said as "Metroprolol"
I'd say more than 50% of patients add an "R" to it.

Also "for granted" as "for granite"
