These are the sessions where I connected with new people and fangirled (or boyed/theyed) about microbes and all the cool things they can do for us and with us - beyond my immediate field. It was awesome, thank you @femsmicro.org

And @femsmicro.org at #FEMS2025 decided to host different interactive workshops to design with microbes 🦠 or about the growing need for ethics and policy discussions around microbial solutions - this is where I noticed my „science mojo“ awakening again*

*it got lost in the post-PhD burnout phase

There is also sooo much interesting research across all subfields of microbiology in forms of sessions and beautiful posters 😍 (I have a soft spot for well designed posters, pls share your secrets!)

So not only were we warmly welcomed with song, cheese, wine, anf gelato …
