over the course of their relationship, saying i love you has been part of their daily conversations. it's always present — in good byes, good mornings, evening, and basically everything. but what stands out for nh, is those random moments where

it often made him flustered at how intense it can get sometimes, to the point he asked why does he look at him that way, only to get get embarrassed at his reply "how else will i look at the love of my life?"

the first time someone pointed it out to nh, he agreed but never knew how it really was until he saw a video of it.

as nh's sleep schedule is a bit different, he often misses meal time and end up eating at random times a day. he got used to it at some point, but when yj came a long, he always made sure nh woke up to a warm breakfast, regardless of what time it is

yj ensures that nh can be like a butterfly who spreads his wings and chases things that attracts him, without being afraid, because yj will always be there to support him in whatever he can.

yj always entertains his antics and gimmicks even if they may seem questionable or weird; yj never fails to make nh feel seen and free to do what he wants and be what he wants to be. yes, this may be something that is normal to a couple, but with yj it's a bit more special.

in everything nh does, whether it's a small gesture or something he randomly said, yj will always be there to affirm him one way or another. he responds to him not to play pretend , but actually listens and pays attention to his interests and thoughts

and nh can't help but get used to this physical touch. it's warm and fuzzy.

and nh can't blame his hands for instinctively reaching out for yj's too.

but as yj's hands alway finds its way to him, it became a source of comfort and act of domesticity he comes to enjoy. yj would sometimes hold it tighter to either provide comfort or just warmth, before bringing it to his lips for a short kiss as some sort of reflex

no matter what the occasion is, he'll always find his hands interlocked with yj's if possible. yj would always gently caress it and rub circles using his thumb, making nh all gooey inside. at first he thought it was just a simple act of love

it's through yj's subtle actions and habits that never fail to make nh's heart skip a beat or put a blush on his face. although not loud enough for people to notice, but just enough for nh to feel butterflies in his stomach, and altogether make it a sweet moment just for them.
