What Murphy isn't telling you is that Bill Clinton and Dems, along with Republicans passed the Telecommunications Act of 1996 which allowed media conglomerates to buy up huge blocks of local stations. If Murphy offers a Bill to repeal that Act then he's ACTUALLY doing something about it.

They have been out of touch for 20 years. They still don't get it. Trump, love him or hate him, didn't fire Kimmel or Colbert. They just don't have the viewership late night used to have (and they aren't funny).

Colbert used to be funny. Can't watch him. Too much TDS. Not for late night. I get enough politics on cable and digital news.

Miss him so much. King of late night. We've had some good ones since, intelligent enough to keep the political jokes light and funny, but none so focused on their TDS as this recent crop. (They also have a lot of streaming shows to compete with, which decreases viewership.)

Um, excuse me? Seinfeld, Maher, and many others quit doing college campuses years ago because of the left, and they are the left! Yes, Trump has no sense of humor, but neither do our congressmen, many who are made fun of daily. The left--the original cancel culture. Me--now a committed Independent.
