In 2013, I shared bread and wine with three Irish priests of different generations. Though I’m not Catholic, we bonded over hope for Pope Francis and respect for President Obama. I imagine their sorrow today at the Pope’s death—and their views on Trump—would deeply sadden me. #PopeFrancis
