I remember seeing a tweet like “Atz would get cancelled on atinytwt 🤣” … are we just going to laugh about it but not change? I don’t exactly remember there being any Atz lyrics where they send death threats to somebody who discredited them.

There’s like a few dozen people who think they run shit, to “protect atz” like their toxic behavior isn’t doing the opposite. Overzealous kpop fans who think they can brute force people into liking the exact same things as them, you’re only turning people off from engaging!

I had a feeling :( If only the cycle could be broken because I feel like it pushes out reasonable people who go quietly, as the amount of average toxicity you’re supposed to tolerate goes up. Majority don’t even move like this they’re just swept in the current and would rather go with the flow.

I don’t know how typical this setup of fandom culture is due to atinytwt being my first and only fandom so far, but it has been saddening to see people pushed out/burned out, then getting burned out myself. I feel like I’m not suited for twt, everybody is so trigger happy or mean spirited.

Not to mention all the sfw accs- I feel like I’m starting to recognize some names who start these witch hunts. Like how do you have access to some of these priv accs if you don’t even claim being a shipper. I stg half of sfwtwt are shippers in denial who just make it hard for everyone else.

This is so pretty I wish I could just walk into the drawing, the color scheme, the ambiance- Like there’s a breeze and I just know that water would be clear, where in the shallower areas you can see to the bottom. The outfit on hwa is stunning, he’d look so good in a drapey chiton dress.

Dead dove creators trying to fly under the radar after hopping on the hate train kills me. Anti-censorship doesn’t mean we don’t have discomforts either, like I really can’t handle extreme gore but I’m not trying to get them jumped for it.

It’s like people can’t just sit in their discomfort either, they need to validate it by mass harassing the person too. Standards on for whom you interact it is one thing, but people go above and beyond. The internet has distorted what a normal reaction to that is, everybody‘s a mini e-celebrity now.

I don’t get the need for these scathing exposés, like you were friends and your first instinct is a witch-hunt, not coming to an understanding. People are less receptive when attacked too so you’re not accomplishing shit. Like are they searching for friendship or their next viral callout post…

Then they try to pretend like they care about these things, when in the past they stalked a teenager’s porn consumption. Like sure, maybe offering your help and suggesting alternatives as a friend is helpful, but turning on them because they don’t align with you immediately only harms them more.

And the crazy thing was that most of the leaders of the harrasment had read similar yaoi too. Like good for you feel like you don’t need it anymore. But they pretended like they had the kid’s best interest at heart by “educating them”, but it was just mass harassment/public humiliation.

I remember big accs running off this minor on sfw twt for reading ”problematic yaoi.” I think it‘s harmful to say that those who consume it are just as bad as the people who harmed them, when many of us are coping through it. Like yes tell me I’m disgusting, and assuming my situation!

God it would’ve been so triggering for me if I had people accusing me of the crime I’ve been a victim of. It’s ridiculous of them to posture like they care about the issue, when I think it’s careless to assume somebody hasn’t survived csa given the depressing prevalence of it.
