My philosophy:

I have found that it helps to study world history a bit in order to gain a broader point of view and realize this is all the same shit, different day … and we will eventually rise out of the mess and do better

We've made it difficult, and sometimes impossible for our best and brightest to get into Universities. My own nephew, top of his class, practically had to beg for acceptance into medical school. He is going to be a pediatric oncologist. Why do they make it so hard?
