"Celeste" combines tight controls with emotional storytelling and features advanced movement like air-dashing and wall climbing. "Jump King" is a minimalist but brutally challenging game where one powerful jump can make or break your progress, emphasizing precision and risk.

Since my final project is about jump platform, I would like to introduce several popular games as well. “Super Mario Bros”, “Celeste”, and “Jump King” are the iconic ones that showcase different aspects of level design and jump mechanics.

It is important to find a suitable pace for the game plot highlight, or it will be like a mess. The main goal here is to show all the highlight part of the game to the audience, and let them get interested into the game. Besides, I am looking forward to the exhibition show!

It is my first time to make a trailer for game. I will refer to the example video professor showed in class, and edit my video based on the order of information such as game title, start animation, game plot highlights and release time.

The overall design for the game "melt" is direct and concise. It is more like cells under a microscope for me somehow lol. Love the tone of the game and the story behind. More function could be added to make more fun of it.

A very beautiful design for the background, I saw universe, ocean, some memories. As the depth got progressively greater, I felt like I was under pressure. It was a very inpiring interactive experience.

"The Marriage" is a minimalist game that explores the dynamics of relationships through simple shapes. It avoids traditional gameplay elements like scores, instead inviting players to interpret the evolving relationship between two colored squares based on their movement.

"Loneliness" is a really impressive game. Though it is quite simple and direct, the process of trying to involve and quit out is touched. It is interesting to see I can't "play by own", since when i am trying come to the bottom end, there is an end. It forces me to turn back.

I am shocked to see that there are so many types of pongs game on the menu and I have played through the top two of them. It is really easy-forward, and i love the sound design here. To advance on this game, maybe change the shape of the ball(it can be everything!)

In the final game, player will act as a fast and agile relic explorer, who jumps, dodges traps, and ultimately eliminates to solve puzzles. The interaction tabs here will be diverse:【WASD】 to control movement
【Space】 to jump
【Mouse drag】to eliminate the square

Attached are some of the models I've applied in project3.2.
These assets were designed with a retro pixel art style in mind.
I'm planning to refine them further based on gameplay needs.
Let me know which one you like the most!

I've come up with these various commands in my game: Press F to launch ordinary bullets. Press R to launch electric bullets. Press J to collect water, and press K to pour water.

I believe this will add a lot of fun to the game experience!

This week, we are learning about the genre of abstract art game. We've played through some of the typical ones, and I've come up with a game idea, the game strategy is quite like a shooter game, but in a more complex way.

These are the screenshots from my game. It demonstrates a basic idea of what i am planing to show in this spaceshooter game. The process of trying to escape from the powerful fighter jet is interesting and intense. And i believe this background looks great under this setting.

At last, I would like to share some of the problems I am facing during the coding. Main reason is that all the buttons are set in one layer and it will confuse the player somehow when they click the questions, and I am sorry for that! See details in my itch.io page~
