I went in Dallas in 1998. It was so amazing. My favorite artists were Erika Badu and Liz Phair, but I won’t forget Natalie Merchant singing “Dallas from a DC9.” I saw Liz Phair again last year and she’s still amazing.

I think that is the heart of the problem in politics now. There is a large part of the American public that simply believes what ‘feels’ true to them, reality be damned. Republicans are happy to take advantage of it, and Democrats think they can overcome it with facts.

It seems like it’s where they got their ideas from.
