John one of the best! Just surprised by the piece even Nehm today was like it doesn’t matter what everyone (John included) speculates just depends on Giannis. Just sad that he got lumped with the First Take loud opinionated group of ex-players!

They don’t own any of their picks and if Giannis wants to stay be a play in team Bucks should take it. Like you said, holding onto Conley and Marc past primes because of the lure for other players. With all due respect to Dame, Bucks still a playoff team in east unlike Portland in your scenario.

Paid subscriber! Hate the idea of Beal but it makes sense here. Bucks fans are sensitive about the content vultures circling, but the Bucks are better championship contenders in 3 years if he stays than whatever the rebuild package brings. It doesn’t make sense unless he makes the call.

Why is there any incentive to trade him until he says so? Any trade partner becomes a non-lottery team with Giannis. Why would he want to go to New Orleans? This is a guy still in his prime and unless he says so there’s absolutely no reason to “get ahead” of this.
