I've really enjoyed the Tales games I've played so far for their generally breezy tone, action gameplay and fun exploring, but my favourite thing is the "Skits", wee optional character dialogues which offer additional plot/character/world details but are ALWAYS fun as hell to me.

This latest cash-grabbing wheeze from Duolingo sucks so hard. Energy drains even when you give right answers, thus removing any incentive to actually use the app to learn a language unless you subscribe to annul this. Were the constant ads after each lesson not coining enough in?

I've been playing Ys Seven in this heatwave which has been perfect for my fragile brain: very fun "whack things with swords" game with very good/challenging/ridiculously-subtitled boss fights ("FEROCIOUS BIRD") that need a good amount of work/reflexes/etc to get past, great fun!

While my health has been recovering the past few days, my fragile brain's been forcing me to constantly repeat this run of songs my ever-growing ska playlist shuffled together. Every one of these has helped me push through/wobble around the place/get things done, cheers all! ♥️

Have had another relativley really good day health-wise! Managed meals/coffees/physio without any problems/wobbles, and managed to finish reading another book (Amongst Our Weapons, Rivers of London No. 9, REALLY good fun imo)! Top Tuesday all round! 🥇

In extremely exciting (for me anyway) news, I've FINALLY finished reading a book again. It took me a month due to bad cognitive health run but I REALLY enjoyed Daughter of the Empire by Raymond E Feist and Janny Wurts, really nice bit of politically-complex fantasy! ♥️

In extremely exciting (for me anyway) news, I've FINALLY finished reading a book again. It took me a month due to bad cognitive health run but I REALLY enjoyed Daughter of the Empire by Raymond E Feist and Janny Wurts, really nice bit of politically-complex fantasy! ♥️
Been able to push through a bit health-wise and get more done this afternoon! Think that's only a little due to recovery nap earlier, mostly it's my obscenely huge ska-punk playlist shuffling up an all-time run of motivational bops for Cap'n Wobbles to have on repeat. Ta you lot.

I really love how Legend of Heroes has built this interconnected continent and populated it with so many characters that crop up again and again throughout the series. This NPC Anton is just Some Guy™️ but he's been cropping up since (iirc) the very first Trails in the Sky game!

Been playing more Trails of Cold Steel, and it's probably a sign of how stupidly into the Legend of Heroes games I am that I cheered out loud when this dork (Bleublanc, one of the antagonists from Sky SC - FOUR GAMES AGO) appeared, in full 3D, with voice acting and EVERYTHING. 😍

Just finished Trails to Azure! Would just like to say how much I enjoyed playing this/Trails from Zero, how much I'm enjoying the ongoing plot of the Legend of Heroes series, AND aim a long, vulgar and overcomplicated series of swear words at that monster of a final boss while I'm at it.

Just finished Trails to Azure! Would just like to say how much I enjoyed playing this/Trails from Zero, how much I'm enjoying the ongoing plot of the Legend of Heroes series, AND aim a long, vulgar and overcomplicated series of swear words at that monster of a final boss while I'm at it.
Thankfully, after that silly nonsense about the dubious legality of potential arrest warrants we're back on the grounded and gritty topics surrounding the city's ongoing political crisis: "have the magic golems been battering innocent citizens?"

Wrapping up a very good/productive/etc day by playing more Trails to Azure, a game currently flipping from delightful "oh no magic golems" JRPG nonsense and gripping "but can we LEGALLY arrest such a powerful figure?" political thriller nonsense right after. Top top stuff.
