I gotta learn more about this. I read somewhere that Yonkers and Mount Vernon were bound to join consolidation by law, but they had voted so overwhelmingly against it that they were left out anyway

How were Bronx votes counted? The parts that were already in NYC were counted as Manhattan and the other parts to the East were counted as what? Westchester?
