The dinner rolls are utterly sublime!

First attempt at sourdough. I am now the proud parent of some 'starter' and having fed the little darling I needed to do something with it before it escaped!

Tastes rather good!

Tonight it's cake - or more accurately Gateau Diane. A confection of coffee meringue, sandwiched and covered with a coffee chocolate ganache. It's a recipe close to my heart, birthdays, graduations, celebrations, Hogmanay's - they'd never have been the same without it!

Trauma to make though!
