I can hardly answer any of it, but I enjoyed it enormously! Next year, please have a section on Obscure Chalet School Illnesses, as the medical life of the school has been entertaining me this year in my (re)reading.

I do that, especially with my favourite covers!

This is the way

I'm so sorry to hear that. The one consolation of the small windowless room was its isolation from infection.

She is, to the best of their ability in these under-resourced times, and the staff treat her with respect and care. Streeting should turn his attention to this, which would benefit everyone, and stop wasting money and time harassing the trans community.

Thanks for the prompt. I wanted to fill in the form but I'm sitting in A&E with my daughter atm. Anyone who thinks trans people can be put in private rooms or "third spaces" should see real life. We are in a spare room with her asleep on a mattress on the floor. The staff are fantastic as always.

Is there a list anywhere of which constituencies were represented? I wasn't able to come and while I can write to my MP, it would be useful to know if they were there.
June 26, 2025 at 6:14 PM
I feel another letter coming on.

This has made my day! Thank you so much!

I've been thinking of you and your family today. ❤️🫂

If it doesn't settle, try a cranial osteopath. They are wonderful. There can also be a link with stress. My long term osteo always knew that if I turned up in pain, I was probably also stressed.
May 23, 2025 at 10:59 AM
Perfectly phrased, thank you. I've been trying to express this in my letters.
May 21, 2025 at 11:13 AM
Yes, I also wrote and had the same response.
May 14, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Is there anyone collecting a list of which companies or services are complying ahead?

2/2 This is what happens when people in power make decisions about another group of people, and give them no say in their own lives. I am not Deaf, but I went to the exhibition and was struck by how little we have apparently learned since 1880.

They need to have a look at their own current exhibition: 1880 That. It centres on the 1880 Milan Conference which declared oral education should replace sign language in Deaf schools. Of 164 attendees making this decision just 3 were Deaf, "resulting in exclusion and stigma for Deaf people". 1/2

Really appreciate this!

If we write to No 10 every week, should we log it with you each time?

Silver Persephone Art on Etsy are selling some, with 100% profits to Gendered Intelligence. Bookshops like Gay's the Word in London have them in the shop.

It's more than "exasperating" to see Labour attack the basic human rights of trans, non-binary and intersex people. I find myself strangely disinclined to vote for a party that treats my loved ones like dirt. And because of their refusal to re-engage with the EU, we can't even leave the country.
April 26, 2025 at 8:31 AM
I agree. I'm a cis woman and I wear a badge with just the trans flag colours. Most people won't even recognise it but any trans woman will know she has an ally. It's a small and simple thing to do.
April 25, 2025 at 10:41 PM
I am disgusted by this Labour government. Both sides? Kindness? As lives are destroyed. There is no integrity, no decency, no humanity. I will never forget this. I will never vote Labour again.
April 18, 2025 at 8:28 AM
Take a breath, or several, or however many you need. There are more of us out here to help. I've written to my MP (again) quoting the Good Law Project. I wear my trans flag badge, so any trans women I come across know they're safe. Small things. This afternoon I'll go and look at bluebells.

I thought you did really well, both in how you spoke from the perspective of a very ordinary family, and also in terms of your professional experience and the politics of it all.

2/2 We do our best but all our love and all our support cannot fix the broken and transphobic system. Thank you for sharing your story.
