It's def okay to be angry at the direction of our world.

But I need folks to stop tunnel visioning that anger at orange crayon and his walking pursebook with the basement-dweller face.

The problem is much larger, and it includes but isn't limited to racism.

Someone told me #BlackLivesMatter “failed” because the goals were unclear. IMO, that person misunderstood the assignment. Folks who disengaged because of 3-word chants likely didn’t do the follow-up reading in the syllabus. What better time for a make-up assignment than #BlackHistoryMonth? 💙📚 (1/3)
