If you celebrated Thanksgiving in early October like we do in the Great White North,this would be totally normal. Once Remembrance Day (Nov. 11th) passes, it’s all Christmas, until January 1st up here. 😉🎄🎅🏻

The Liberals released a new budget here in Canada last week. If they can’t get the votes to pass it, Parliament will dissolve, the PM and all MPs will be unemployed, and we will have another election. Imagine if this is how it worked in the US… I bet there would never be another shut down. 😉

Tell them it was Keifer Sutherland’s grandfather, Tommy Douglas who is responsible for our Medicare system- Americans seem to like celebrities’ connections in politics, and tell Trump that Douglas was voted “The Greatest Canadian” a few years ago. That might trigger some movement. 😉

I haven’t purchased a thing from Amazon or Walmart since January, Target, not an issue, they couldn’t survive here. I’m still checking the country of origin of every product I purchase at the grocery store (and my iPhone is 5 years old). 😉 It definitely takes more time, but it’s doable.

💯… he needs the “security issue” so he can keep circumventing Congress, and keep his tariffs in place. I mean seriously, what security issue is Canada really to the US? We just want to be left alone. 🤷🏼♀️

We got our Shingrix last month,dose #2 is due in October. We’re still trying to decide whether to go for the Shingrix, Flu, COVID hat trick and get it all out of the way at once, or split them up. Either way, we’ll be fully vaccinated by the end of October. 😉

It was the first dose of the shingles vaccine for me a couple of weeks ago.
I’m due for the 2nd shingles dose as well as the flu and COVID shots in October.
Looks like the Friday before Thanksgiving is the sweet spot for the hat trick- long weekends are made for such events. 😉🍁🇨🇦
